Friends of Ferals Inc is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization located in
Port Neches, Texas that is dedicated to helping feral and stray cats.
Our primary goal is to promote the humane treatment of cats through
Trap-Spay/Neuter-Return (TNR) programs.
Our mission is to humanely reduce the overpopulation of feral cats in
Port Neches, TX by raising public awareness, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR),
and rescuing homeless but friendly cats and kittens that we find along
the way.
Service Area and Guidelines:
- We intake community cats from Port Neches, Groves, Port Arthur, and
Nederland subject to available funds and space. - These cats must be homeless (lost or abandoned) or injured.
- For those outside these areas, please refer to the provided graphic
for alternative local resources.
Our Program:
- We operate a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program and do not intake or
relocate healthy “feral” cats. Only those in immediate danger or
injured/sick are eligible for intake or relocation assistance. - We are volunteer-run. All our volunteers have full-time jobs and
other responsibilities, impacting our availability.
Policies:

you need to surrender or rehome a cat, please complete the Humane
Society of Southeast Texas Surrender Form
