TNR Class InfoDo you want to make a difference in the lives of feral and stray cats in our community? If so, we invite you to join us for a free TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Basics Class on Sunday, March 9, at 3:00 PM at Petsense in Orange, TX (2264 MacArthur Dr, Orange, TX 77630).

TNR is the most humane and effective method for managing community cat populations. By learning the basics of trapping, neutering, and returning feral cats, you can help reduce the number of kittens born on the streets, improve the health and well-being of outdoor cats, and prevent unnecessary euthanasia.

What You’ll Learn

In this informative and hands-on class, we’ll cover:

🐾 TNR Best Practices – Learn how to safely and humanely trap cats, transport them to the vet, and return them to their outdoor homes.
🐾 How to Talk to Your Vet About TNR – Not all veterinarians are familiar with TNR, so we’ll share tips on how to discuss its benefits and find vet support for your efforts.
🐾 Fundraising Strategies – TNR can be costly, but there are ways to raise funds to cover vet expenses, supplies, and ongoing care. We’ll go over practical fundraising ideas and resources to help you succeed.

Why Attend?

Whether you’re new to TNR or already have experience but want to expand your knowledge, this class is for you! By attending, you’ll gain the tools and confidence to take action and help the cats in your neighborhood. Plus, you’ll meet fellow cat advocates who share your passion for improving the lives of community cats.

I need TNR TRAINING. I SAW WHERE YOU HAD A CLASS IN ORANGE ON MARCH 9TH. ANY OTHER CLASSES SOON!!!???? I HAVE 22 ADULTS AND 9 NEW KITTENS! WE ARE ON A FIXED RETURED INCOME. I SPEND $800 A MONTH ON THESE BABIES FOR CANNED AND DRY FOOD. THEY EAT TILL THEIR BELLIES ARE FULL. I RENT A STORAGE TO LEAVE PLATES OF FOOD IN WHEN I LEAVE SO THEY CAN EAT LATER IN THE EVENING TOO. I NEED TO GET THE MAIN COLONY MAN FIXED. HIS NAME IS BLACKIE. HE IS ABUSING THE OTHER YOUNGER MALES AND QUITE HONESTLY I AM TO THE POINT OF TEARS!!!! I AM OVERWELMED EVERYDAY WHEN FEEDING BECAUSE HE TRIES TO FIGHT WITH ALL MY BEAUTIFUL ORANGE BABIES. BLACKIE AND I ARE CLOSE. MAKES ME SAD I HAVE TO SCREAM AND RUN AFTER HIM WHEN HE IS ABUSING THE YOUNGER BOYS. NONE OF MY BABIES ARE FIXED. I AM 68, HAVE FIBROMYALGIA, AND RIGHT NOW RECOVERING FROM SHINGLES. I HAVE A SURGERY ON MY BACK SCHEDULED FOR 9TH OF JULY. I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE BLACKIE THERE WITHOUT HAVING BEEN FIXED…PLEASE HELP? GUIDE ME…TAKING A CATCH AND RELEAEE CAGE WITH US TONIGHT TO FEED. 3. Please I am desperate to remove My Colony of 27 cats from a convenience store and storage in Mauricevilletx. I am in one heck if a mess today!!! I need Guidance!!!! I have been feeding My Colony now for 3 years at a Convenience and storage area in Mauriceville. I thought the owner was OK with Me going everyday to feed the cats. I have 27 last count. The owner told Me today I have to get them gone…I said , but this is the ONLY HOME THEY EVER HAVE KNOWN! HE SAID, HE had a few complaints about food etc. I feed inside MY RENTED STORAGE , AND WAY BACK IN THE BACK WHERE HARDLY ANYONE HAS RENTED. THE COST HAS BEEN $1000 A MONTH TO ME FOR CANNED and DRY FOOD . I have formed bonds with these cats. I can pet a couple, but when I sit down to feed they all surround Me, and eat. I make sure their little bellies are full, and they have fresh water daily. I am in a Phychological PANIC After ATAH told Me today that We have to go. I have not been able to take these babies to get them fixed because of us being retired and on fixed incomes….It just happened that 3 of my Girls had litters this summer. Atah told Me its been 2 years , and its getting to much. He said he does not want to have to call anyone to have them exterminated, but that I have to find them someplace else to live. I am 68, facing serious back surgery this month on the 16th, Now this!!!! I was there a year before Atah bought the store. Today is My worst nightmare come true……PLEASE, PLEASE SOMEONE GUIDE ME. These Babies do not deserve to be shot or poisoned!!!!……ANY, AND ALL GUIDANCE WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!! DO ANY ORGANIZATIONS STILL FLY KITTIES TO OTHER STATES THAT NEED THEM??? HELP PLEASE!!!!
